Alderson Print Group wins two year Microsoft print contract
23rd February 2011
Alderson Print Group has secured a multi million pound 2-year print contract with Microsoft following a comprehensive tender process over the past few months. Alderson Print Group was one of six contenders including the incumbent print management company, for the substantial contract which also includes an option for a 1-year extension.

The contract with Microsoft involves supplying all of its marketing and operational print, direct mail and point of sale materials.

Mark Vincent, Business Development Director at Alderson POS explains: “Microsoft use such a vast range of printed collateral and POS material and brand consistency is of the essence, not just across different printed products but also when reprints are concerned. Being able to produce the majority of their work in-house means we can safeguard the consistency of the Microsoft brand across all campaigns.”

Group Chairman Peter Alderson said Microsoft required a "very comprehensive solution". "Alderson Print Group demonstrated that we have the experience and infrastructure to provide Microsoft with a solution that meets their strict requirements whilst still maintaining high quality and cost control."

According to Vincent, the contract to supply Microsoft was "an important strategic win" for the business. The contract was subject to a strict tender process, the key factors in securing this important new client were the levels of visibility and added value services we are able to offer to Microsoft through the intelligent leveraging of our organisation’s combined capabilities all on one site.

“Alderson is delighted to be working with the team at Microsoft that has such enthusiasm for its Brand,” concludes Peter Alderson
