Alderson Print Group expands its POS Capability with £200K Investment.

Alderson Print Group has installed a Redline 2100, the UK’s largest, fastest and most technically advanced semi-automatic flatbed die cutting machine. The specific reason for the purchase is to enable us to die-cut the 2 metre sheets printed on our KBA 205 sheetfed press.
The primary customer benefit is shorter lead times for POS products. The investment enables us to get our clients message into the market faster.
This machine can die-cut a wide range of materials from 0.5mm (500 micron) through to 15mm, employing 450 tonnes of pressure to cut cardboard, plastics, PVC, self-adhesive vinyl and display board.
The £200,000, 40 tonne monster comes with integral CCTV so that the operator can see what is happening within the machine from several angles.
